    I am essentially quoting myself here, but the same thing was done with the 7.3 powersmoke ZD-11 is now ZD-30 and I am not sure why I didn’t ask the dealer about that but it seems to be what Ford is doing at the moment.

    If it’s over 32 degrees all the time than you should be able to barely get away with that. If you see the teens regularly you will have to have 750s or better and once it hits the negatives your really going to need some batteries. It comes down to where you live more than anything.

    I think it’s like any vehicle with a known problem, lots of people get along fine but mechanics, dealers, and the like become hyper aware of the problem because they see it far more.     Yes the 2v is a completely different thing from the 3v 5.4 although some people have had good experience with the 3v my experience has been that it is high maintenance even when babied.

    If it starts to sound like a diesel when you start up that 5.4 it needs cam phasers,usually the factory ones are good for around 100k and aftermarket’s 0-50k miles. They can also be more difficult to resale in my opinion as word is out about that problem, kind of like trying to sell a 6.0...

    I am working on fixing my fuel leaks and so I replaced rubber lines today. I ordered a nice minty kit and one of the brand new blue high pressure lines split on me! So I had to use regular high pressure line.

    I got a new radio for Christmas! And so I cleaned out and reworked absolutely everything. I think I took out a pound of random wires from previous owners.

    I appreciate that, I hate unsecured loads and do my best to make sure everything is nice and tight when I am out on the road thank you for making the effort to keep other vehicles safe as well.

    Yeah that’s the way to go if you do it on the highway regularly. It was just some pine logs that were a gift from a friend.
