Hazard does only activate front blinkers?

I am wondering, I have a fuse burning every time I have my warning on and hit the brakes. Today I've followed the leads with a test light, and I think the culprit might be the earth connection from the RH rear light unit. it's just a bit rusty bolt into the frame. could such a thing causing a...

Fuel filter light comes up what could be the cause?

Three years ago I changed the (still original) fuel filter for a new one, I only drove 200 miles in the beginning of that period.and after that no more. now the "fuel filter" light in the bottom RH corner of the instrument cluster comes up, if the engine revs over 2000RPM, and I wonder if...

    underbody/frame coating recommendations

If you treat the frame with a wire wheel, you're smearing all the rust and grime etc. in a layer covering the rust, it looks clean, but isn't (try to scratch that (new) layer with a sharp screwdriver or so) If you then cover that layer with the product of your choice, it will act as the before...

Hazard does only activate front blinkers?

Yes I do, but I'm not sure if I can find it. I've bought the truck in 2005, with some documentation, but since I never needed it, now there most probably a thick layer of dust on it? hihihi.

    Door seals

Did the thought, that Ford doors just are crap, ever pass your mind? I have the gutfeeling that Ford used too thin metal or something like that for these doors! I had some westcoast mirrors installed, and every time it rained when I was driving, I got completely wet, because these mirrors pulled...

The sterling 10,25 rear axle, is it a known problem giver?

I wonder, this is a 1989 truck, with not many miles due to being a ex airforce ambulance, and me having important registration problems. But before the big health problems globally I drover her at least once a month "around the church" to keep everything going. then just before our "house...

Hazard does only activate front blinkers?

Well, The "wigwag" relay was full of rust, when I had it out and on the table, a trace of brown powder was coming out, and when I opened it , the whole thing was completely rusted out! So after putting the new one in, the hazard worked as before. ONLY, after starting the truck, and pulling the...

Hazard does only activate front blinkers?

What I discovered for the moment; fuse 1 was blown, the indicator relay was removed and replaced with some terminals with wires in them, going to a proper European electronic indicator relay with a (sort of) wigwag relay, which had some corrosion on/in it, so I'm replacing that one first. In the...

Hazard does only activate front blinkers?

Hello Franklin, Mine has had it's first registration as well in Germany, though since it was a ambulance, it already had amber rears. Thanks for the scheme, I'll have a look at it.

Hazard does only activate front blinkers?

I do, but the funny thing is; I can have the US system of indicators as well (the red one, one brake, one blinking) I still need to take a peek on the fuse panel, but are there special relais for the normal (2x) indicators and a separate one for the Warning (4x)? or are the both the same? 1989 F-350

Hazard does only activate front blinkers?

No, and since this is (was) a ambulance, they have the amber indicators flashing in the rear, apart from the brake lights. which was adapted by the factory.

    Importance of air intake?

Talking about Australia and snorkels, on elderly Toyota's the snorkels were one piece, ready to ford rivers, these modern Toyota's now have 2 piece snorkels, and they even are no longer watertight !? Why would that be?

    Importance of air intake?

I've noticed that this piece is missing on my truck, and wonder at what it serves, and how important (or not?) it is? (I did use a image from this forum, I hope that's not a problem?)

Hazard does only activate front blinkers?

Just getting back on the road, I noticed that when I pull the hazard switch only my front indicators flash, nothing on the rear? Normal indicators do work as supposed to. 1898 F-350 what could be the issue here?

is it nessecary to lower the gearbox?

Ok, thanks for the advice. The guy who did my gearbox, told me first to install the whole shebang mechanically, then add 4 liters of ATF, start and directly stop the engine so that tha ATF get's in the converter, and this, I guess is the equivalent of putting the one quart in the converter...
