Thats actually an improvement over the stock design. The filter is hard to service and you have to remove the airbox to do anything with the fuel system or to access wiring on top of the engine. Its super, super annoying.- renjaminfrankln

Also not included yet on this thread, I compounded the paint by hand with turtle wax polishing compound, and I waxed it. I was sore for 2-3 days after all that compounding.- renjaminfrankln

Crappy FM radio reception - Bricknose
I like the look of my stock radio in the F250. However, the FM reception is not good. Stations I can easily pick up 30-40 miles outside of town in other vehicles, are nonexistent in the F250. In-town, the radio works fine. I'm wondering if I should spend some time taking the radio out, chasing...- renjaminfrankln

Lubed the heat/ac blend door cable. Look at that WD 40 running all the way through the cable. Nice- renjaminfrankln

Believe the Y-Pipe is different between the two. I don't know from personal experience but I think i've read on the forums that Banks will sell you a Y pipe. It may not be cheap.- renjaminfrankln

Tire choices
Nitrogen is dry, inert. Shop air is moist and reactive (oxygen). Weight is at a premium on aircraft so the parts are designed as light as possible. Bricknose Speedo noise
Transmission and xfer case were removed recently but the source of the noise seems to be coming from the cab. Its either inside the speedo itself or coming from the upper part of the cable. FWIW it made this noise before the transmission was removed.- renjaminfrankln

Bricknose Speedo noise
My 89' has an intermittent ticking noise coming from the speedometer. You can hear it above about 30 MPH. It comes and goes. I can't quite tell if its coming from the speedometer itself or the cable. Anyone happen to have a pic of how the speedo cable goes into the cluster? I could pull it...- renjaminfrankln

Huge difference from all of the soundproofing. I also put 1" thick foam soundproofing on top of the factory floor liner under the dash (above your feet). Don't have pics of this, but one thing that helped a lot was to put some of the 1" foam soundproofing in the transmission shifter boot area...- renjaminfrankln

Two words: Rock Auto If I could be a little bit helpful, when I first installed my new tach sensor it was a little funny on the first few weeks. Then it settled out and has been rock solid since. No idea why.- renjaminfrankln

No wts light , new controller, relay, gp...
Check from your ground to the bottom right post with ignition on, should be getting a good 12v. Also can't hurt to check from the ground to the battery positive cable for good 12v as well. If that all checks out .. it looks like it hooked up right to me. Next thing to check would be the...- renjaminfrankln

It looks like you have the red wire from the GP controller, the two red wires are positive from your ignition switch, then the big eyelet is a positive to run your fuel pump. If thats the case then it seems like it is hooked up correctly to me. One thing you could check is the voltage at the...- renjaminfrankln
