    Boneheaded mistake. How bad is it?

    If unable to retrieve it through the drain hole, get a new drain plug with an earth magnet in it. That should be strong enough to hold it when it rolls around.

    Hydrobost upgrade also needs a different P/S reservoir. Not enough return ports on the stock set up.

    Just an update, A real fast search on Car-part.com shows about an $800 price tag for the rear end on the low side. Lugnut4X4 has the dually kit for $770 with all the fancy parts, and no rear axle to pull out. Hmm. . . A tough decision.

    I priced a cowl seal. Then I bought a garage door seal instead. Cheaper. Then I used 3M caulk seal strips to even provide a better seal.
