94 F350 dually drum or disc brakes?

Not sure how being my conversion costed all of 170 bucks and a few hours of my time

94 F350 dually drum or disc brakes?

That is correct. But it was still cheaper for me to take this rout.now if only I could find a way to adapt the front to match. Someone here had found a solution to that issue, I just forgot what it was. Doesn't bother me either way.

94 F350 dually drum or disc brakes?

It was cheaper for me to use the whole rear end off of a 2001 3/4ton to put on my 1991 3/4 ton for the disk rear brakes. Both ford. Got 3.73 gear out the deal too. My fuel mileage went up as well over the 4.10 and the 3.55. Just my experience.

94 F350 dually drum or disc brakes?

I tow daily with disk rear. My parking brake has never failed and I have much superior breaks with disk rear than I was ever able to get with the drums. I tow 14-17k on the trailer alone and have never had issues the past 5 years as I did with the drums the previous 4 years. And that is without...

    Much difference with steering stabilizer?

If the rag joint was replaced recently with everything else, and it's the only slack your able to find, you may have just gotten a bad part. Then again, the rag joints in my opinion were a bad design. I read your posts and am aware that you don't want to replace the steering shaft for the cost...

    Much difference with steering stabilizer?

Lol. I have the same rig, replaced all the above mentioned parts, and got the same results. To directly answer the question you asked, I did try the double steering dampener approach. No avail. Shim the steering shaft my friend. All the difference in the world in my experience.

    C6 Finally Died

I have 3 dead c6 jaspers. As well as a few engines from jasper. None of which has more than 55,000 miles on them. I wouldn't use jasper. They don't honor warranty, their rebuilds are junk, you are paying for a brand name these days. They aren't what they used to be. If you were in texas and...

    surprising mileage.

Definitely worth having timed in my opinion. I have alot of CDD upgrades as well as a 5 speed on my 91 7.3 and 3.73s and 19 mpgs is easy to come by even when I'm in a "hurry". The 85 6.9 with t 19 I just haven't been able to quite get that. Neutral rolling is a must in that 85 I have to get the...

    surprising mileage.

Timing helps alot, and so does overdrive. Which your t19 doesn't have. Best I got with a t19 was 17 mpg. Mainly due to flat ground here in tx and 3.55 gearing and easy on the throttle. I still shift at 2k rpm unloaded

Water pump install advice needed sooner than later.

I have many of these trucks myself and everyone has spun off and destroyed a radiator as soon as I killed the engine after applying massive amounts of torque to ensure that it was afixed to the water pump. My dumba$$

I have done some really dumb things in the past, and apparently I still do! I rebuilt my engine and spent a pretty penny doing so. New pistons, as 5 of 8 have been cracked for some time now(and still daily driven for past three years) new rings, new mains, new connecting rods bearings and...

    Truck Registration

Man I'm glad I live in Texas to register a vehicle. Last time I bought a truck I had it registered, inspected, and combat veteran tags. Costed me a whopping 85 bucks. And that's also with the title swap to my name. Past 4 years on that truck, 50 bucks a year for registration and inspection.
