    Holly Red Pressure test Question

I, too, have a deadhead regulator on my rigs. One thing I notice is when set to 5 psi, it will show 7 psi until I start the engine, then go back down to 5. Been this way for 8 years or so now. Never have had issue.

    Hard brake pedal

And did you pull vaccume values just before the brake booster? Had a similar issue on a few of my trucks and it turned out to be a leak in another vaccum on one truck, easy fix replacing a rubber hose, and the other was the plastic vaccume junction had a Crack in it, which I stole one off of one...

    Question on disassembling injectors

I've taken apart so many sets of these injectors and never sheared a pin. I can't say anything as far as the injectors in the video, as they aren't for our 6.9/7.3 diesels. But I use a vice and a 12 point wrench to take mine apart. I Ultrasonic clean them individually so as to not mix match...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

OK so if I done made it there and back with a decent load (guessing around 10k) and no issues still I believe the issue is resolved finally. Bit of a runaround and a pain, but still good! Thank you all for your ideas and suggestions. Truly appreciate it oil burners!

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

OK, so ipr checks out. Hpop pressures seem really mint, IPC seems great, and throttle percentage vs voltage is good. Gave up with the tec and just drove it. Acting like nothing is wrong whatsoever. Now I hang my head in defeat. I just needed a dealership pedal, an ipr nut to stay tight, and new...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

Lol. Then I definately got bad fuel somewhere. Them tanks last about 5 days tops before refill.

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

Wish I had held onto the other ipr from the old hpop to test that theory. Only reason I tossed it was because it wasn't motorcraft. I know that sounds picky, but other cheap parts I've bought in the past haven't done well by me(original argument of this thread). Tomorrow il have the auto...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

It may be. Not sure. But even after using a dab of loctight and a regular nut it still does it. It's not rocking loose anymore, but yet again, still don't know for sure. But at this point the pedal assymbly and sensors aren't acting up so il take that win. I'm sure the new symptom will be...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

Booster fooler took care of the de fueling issue, and of course, she died going uphill all the sudden. Popped the hood to look around BAM! Ipr nut fell off. Slapped a regular nut on there and got it to fire back up. Recently put new tanks on the truck because of pinholes, and figured I'd throw...

    Expected boost

As far as brand guage, everyone has opinions. Mine is that auto meter has done me the best and been the most reliable over the years. Others may have had different experiences, issopro has let me down quite a few times. Not with inaccuracy, just quit working randomly. Glowshift is good in my...

    Expected boost

With a maxed out stock ip and turbo was seeing 14 with a load. Also seeing 1200+ on any little grade which I wasn't thrilled about, but still built 14 on the boost guage

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

W That and probably need to adjust the nut behind the wheel. I forget it's not the 6.7 sometimes and mash harder. I suppose that boost number is higher with a load on the trailer as well. Gonna wait till I get some more cash in my hand and get a boost fooler. See what's up with that and go from...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

Brand new with adrenaline hpop and Motorcraft ipr. Replaced IPC as well. Even replaced the cam position sensor but used the international one. Surely that isn't the issue? Also did the valve cover/wiring as well as glow plugs.

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

I'm gonna try that. Not saying it's the whole issue, but I definately need it anyways. Auto meter guage and glowshift guage both saying the same thing. And I doubt I have head studs, so there's another thing I may need to look into. Didn't figure I needed them with stock injectors. Also didn't...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

I put the hydra chip on. Both pcms were unaltered looking with the waxy coating still on them. I cleaned them well and got it to connect first try. The issues started before the hydra, so I don't believe that was the issue

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

Nope. Looked it up. It's a thing. And I'm pushing 26 lbs of boost pretty easily with an empty 24 ft gooseneck. Data plate shows empty it only weighs 4,000 lbs. And I have at least 150 lbs of chains and ratchet binders in the front box.

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

Sorry about the weirdness. Just tired of someone spamming up the thread with misinformation and I met childish behavior with likewise childish behavior. My position was Scenario#1 throttle lag exists and someone wanted to go out of their way by trolling and deny the entire aftermarket platform...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

All of them. Headlight to tail light. I replaced every bit of the harness when I swapped to manual. The old wiring had alot of splicing everywhere. Even between the headliner and top of the cab.

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

I didn't think so, but I threw it in there just in case I was wrong. Il have to find that thread and watch that video. All my grounds still look good. Cleaned em again anyway. We don't really rust that bad in my area, but as I say that I remember my daughter's truck was having issues starting...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

I agree. And it verry well could be the hot side of things. Just curious as to why I'm having same issue with entire wiring harness and pcm swap. And I left no stock wire in the truck. All came from doner. And yet still had same issue. Been driving it the past few days since I got the new pedal...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

I almost don't even care about the throttle weirdness/lag/ whatever people are calling it, anymore. Lol. Just want to not have to replace it all the time. The chain store part may be the culprit, something in the charging or wiring is causing them to fail, not sure which or of it is a combo...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

I agree with getting back to basics. Still believe in the k.i.s.s. method to start with. Il check the link you provided to see if there is something stupid simple I am forgetting or overlooking. Thank you for that by the way. But it could verry well be possible im overlooking something. Just...

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?

I will check the grounds again, and never thought about voltage type. Thank you! Definately should check that. But the second and a half delay between my foot applying pressure to the pedal (weather applying light pressure or stomping it to the floor) and the tachometer moving or any change in...
