Welcome to the forums,
So to verify, you made sure the fuel shutoff solenoid is clicking when you manually supply power to it? It is an on/off solenoid, there shouldnt be any spinning when power is applied.
Drove about 100 miles round trip, went to the brother in laws to look at the truck I built for my mother in law. Apparently the E4OD had been acting up, dropping out of gear and such.
Scanned for codes, code 29 open circuit on speed sensor... But speedo is working. So probably a bad cluster...
Also nothing a small zip tie couldn't hold closed.
Also, I work on RVs from the 80s that have ball valve coolant drains, frankly the older they are, the stiffer they get.
Some chrome is nice, I swear I need to tint my windows due to being blinded by all the chrome on all the trucks around here. But I am also light sensitive so :Whatever:
I got to play musical trucks in order to unbury my tow dolly and my samurai.
Pulled my dads crew cab out
Pulled my dads project standard cab out. Crazy how it still idles so smooth.
Pulled the tow dolly out
Got the sammy out
White truck back behind the fence where the Sammy was
Crew cab back...
The CDD turbo kits are a complete plug and play kit. Ive always heard rule of thumb for a 7.3 on stock head bolts is 12psi, which the stock wastegate opens at 8psi?
Are yours damaged? I'd reuse them..
I have a spare used one floating around I could measure, but I don't have a mic that large, so it would be with a tape measure
I have heard several stories. It seems like its one extreme or the other. Either super good service, or super scummy business practices. Vote with your wallet my friends, is all I'll say. Its definitely a subject that drives wedges between people here though.
I have also heard the stories, but so far only bad experience I had was when I told them my 092 kit had a blown out joint, I was greeted with a "shrug, dunno what to tell ya."
