    Unconventional CDR Mounting Ideas

I dont use the cdr at all. buy the banks timing cover adapter from russrepair.com plumb a 1'' hose into the intake of the turbo and be done. or you can plumb the 1'' hose to a catch can, or down the frame rail, but your truck will look like its on fire when its running from the smoke vapor...

    Yet another radiator cap thread

13 was standard But yes I have run into that, 7, 13 and 16 I have seen claimed as what was originally equipped. Personally I run a 13 psi napa house brand which is a rebranded stant cap. They are the most consistent cap I have found. I even know one guy running a 19 psi cap

    Selling upgraded drop in fans!

I have yet to have anyone order one for a van, had a couple people inquire about them, though. I have yet to find anything different about a fan For A truck vs a van being different, I would assume they are the same. I can't speak for how much more dangerous the fan might make checking the...

    Selling upgraded drop in fans!

I have had several people report back saying it cools fantastic and post a pic without a shroud. It cools better than the stock fan without a shroud. But I do not recommend running without a shroud even through there seems to be lots of people do. In order to get maximum effectiveness out of...

    Selling upgraded drop in fans!

I had another guy stop by towing an empty 10k rated car trailer and he had seen 260 on some grades, Swapped my fan in and a new clutch, even without a shroud(which I highly recommend you run a stock shroud) his crusing temps dropped from 220 to 200 And with a jeep on the same trailer on the...

So what did you do with your truck today?

@Nero What is wrong with it if it held 210 pretty steady, that sounds like its working perfect. couple numbers for you. 192 factory thermostat opening temp 215-225 roughly where fan clutch should lock. if its locking lower than that is even better. 235 where i would recommend backing out to keep...

    7.3idi decarbonizing water steam

After having torn down a motor I used water **** on, and one that didn't use water m3th. There is less oily residue in the intake manifold, valves, ports in the heads and cylinders are cleaner. It definetly does clean some. Our idis don't get dirty enough imo to worry about cleaning them. I...

Let’s talk about egts and water temp

I would be willing to bet the turbo is definitely dumping additional heat into the cooling system. @goosemay chime in and say the same thing. I don't know that 3.55s are hurting you that much. Because of the similar trans ratios, simply drop a gear. As you know op For the rest of you 3.55 4th...
