Looking for Sidewinder TE06H parts
Glad someone spoke up on this mentioned aftermarket shaft. The wheels are part of the shaft but.. They are two different materials. The wheel is inconel. Not sure what the shaft material is but it will rust.- icanfixall

Fuel heater leak air intrusion?
Any fuel leaks make air suck in because of vacuum when the engine shuts down. Think about our fuel systems like a straw. Dip it in soda and place your thumb over the end. Now lift it out. See nothing drips out. Now lift thumb off end see the fluid flow out.Gravity holds the fluid in the straw...- icanfixall

Hard Start after Everything...
Look at the fuel line from the filter to the injection pump. Both brass ends have a black seal in them. They dry out too. Many are nearly impossible to remove too. some burn them out. Others soak them in brake fluid and ease them out with a pick. That line is 5/16 size. Now look at the 3/8 inch...- icanfixall

Hypermax turbo questions
Might want to read the Hall of Shame forum BEFORE you buy injectors or an injection pump. The cheapest ebay pumps are that way for good reasons. some fake re-builders pick wrecker pumps. Test run them. Clean off some dirt and paint the outside of the pump. PLEASE NEVER BUY A PAINTED INJECTION...- icanfixall

I use the port on the bell housing flange by the oil filter mostly because Banks used it for EVERY idi they put turbos on.When these engines got a factory turbo the oil feed was enlarged to 1/4 inch from 1/8 inch and they used the top port you are asking about. No start 6.9
hopefully you know if you change to the newer solid state controller you need to also change from spade connector to the bullet connector glow plugs named ZD9. Also the connector in the glow plug harness needs to be changed too.- icanfixall

Strange IDIT lubrication failure...
Very low maintenance engine for sure. Bet it NEVER got oil added till it knocked too. By that time is too late. Shows how well built these idi engines are to run so long with zero maintenance or near that. How hard is it to open hood and check fluids once a week....- icanfixall

The better brake n frame shop I use when needed ALWAYS turn new drums and rotors before they go on any car or truck. Probably 30 plus years ago I had a shop do the rear brakes on my Chevy 1 ton truck only because I did not want to remove the axles and do all that extra work setting the bearing...- icanfixall

need a 96 7.3 fuel bowl in the philly area ASAP
Brake clean it. Then JB Weld it plenty thick. It will get you back up and running fine. Sorry for the road troubles. They really suck.- icanfixall

Tuff decision for sure. I do not think you have warped drums but they sure could have been cut off center. Taking a cut on them wont make them too thin and warp easier. any Competent brake shop will measure them BEFORE they try to clean them up. They are bound by a min spec too. 6.9 Idi turbo oil feed
You only need a feed line 1/8 inch in size. Now if you had a turbo block then you can use a 1/4 inch feed line. Every idi besides the actual turbo blocks have the 1/8 inch oil ports in the block. Welcome to the forum. Sad news is you purchased a injection pump from a less than stellar ebay seller. Best try to return it and get your money back. My bet is diesel careless will tell you that YOU did something wrong. Thats their M.O.- icanfixall

Injection pump issue
Ok.. When you removed the hard line how did you determine that no fuel was coming out back of the injection pump? You must crank the engine to see any fuel from an open line. Running the engine would really show you if fuel really is NOT getting out the back of the number one port on the pump.- icanfixall

Turbo hard piping?
without knowing material or type of weld or rod grade. Best I can suggest is to start over. Once you have impurities in a weld its not likely you can "burn it out"...- icanfixall

6.9 holley black fuel pump
Welcome to the forum. As already posted.. The black electric pump is way more than you need. A holley Red will work fine for the idi needs.Many other electric pumps can work but please ask before buying any.Some are not worth the time installing them. finally please never run both the mechanical...- icanfixall
