    Well on my '69 Ford Backhoe/Loader with the 3 cyl Perkins engine it cavitated on one cyl, below the piston rings/stroke & let water fill crankcase up..... engine still running great but overheating & all water rinning into crankcase. So in my mind, maybe pressure ck the coolant system.

    As a side note IIRC our oil pumps….. at RPM put out/pump around 17-18 gal oil per minute……????? And at RPM our water pumps put out/pump around 70 gallons per minute……????     On mine, '90 with '94 factory IDIT, on my fuel return line from filter, may not be correct but works, I have it plugged off. Down on front pass side injector the fuel return "Tee" that would go to fuel filter I have it with short hose, then plugged. All pass side fuel return is all together...
