So I'm still trying to get this sorted out. Like I say I never really run or hardly been around & working on a 6.9 other than driving one a few trips. My 7.3 I've always run Brea/ ZD9 plugs. Interested now in the GM self regulated plugs. Also like I say I've had my glowplugs set up on a...- ttman4

I'm trying to follow you guys, nearly got it figured out but not quite. @1mouse3 & @IDIBRONCO you saying the AC Delco 60G & the Bosch 80034 are both for the GM 6.2 & 6.5 engines, correct? And both are they self limiting plugs? And they both are- ttman4

I've found & bought few things at WallyWorld & Home Depot that price tag was still down but price was up & they went ahead & honored posted price. Brake light stuck on?
Don't use lights or brake lights!! The Fix: Get one of those flashlites or headlites that strap on your head..... those kind that I despise immensely that go thru about 3-4 cycles..... bright, dim, dimmer, then start flashing red,...... Anyway when you get ready to stop turn head backwards...- ttman4

Dishwasher............Trying to tell all U folks, just make sure you have a dishwasher!!! Has worked great for me for years. I always put the filters & .357 & 44Mag parts back behind the bigger dinner plates, out of sight in case Carol gets up & catches me!!! LOL Oh, & make sure U use right...- ttman4

What are the Bosch 80034 self limiting glow plugs supposed to be for/fit and are there any modifications to use them on these 7.3s? Pics I found on the internet looks like GPs with blade connector like for a 6.9.- ttman4

Goat.......I don't know what to say cept run back down there & grab them, quick!! And our WallyWorld the F1995 A was like $26 & I didn't see any regular F1995 filters. Are there any difference between the F1995 & F1995 A ?- ttman4

I wait till Carol goes sleep then get up quietly & go get my dirty used 1995-A oil filter, my other dirty parts, my pistol gun parts that I'm cleaning up, very carefully & quietly load them in the dishwasher.....has worked for years! LOL LOL No seriously though, I was at WallyWorld yesterday...- ttman4

I don't know what to do anymore. ('94 Factory IDIT with manual push button) I put in set of "Genuine" Motorcraft ZD9 glow plugs about 1000 mi back & already got couple or more not working when I tested them with my lite tester. Haven't pulled them yet cause couple very hard to get to to pull...- ttman4

Unusual coolant in oil/oil in coolant issue
I'm assuming our 6.9-7.3s can cavitate low enough below ring travel that it won't hydro-lock. My 'ol Ford 4500 TLB 3 cyl Perkins cavitated once below ring travel, ran great too!!! Found it by shutting down, cking radiator, filling up, cranking up & running for a bit. Then noticed water running...- ttman4

Plug block heater into "shore power"?
Yeah no p;oint in using a 600watt heater, I was saying I've seen some 600 watt heaters. Bought one at NAPA yrs ago, got to shop & realized they had given me a 600 watter, carried it back & got the 1000 watt one like I thought I was buying.- ttman4

I have 2 Frantz toilet paper filters hooked up on my '90 with '947.3 IDIT, installed inline in series with each other. I tapped into the plug down on the block down by the bellhousing, line up to 1st filter, out into 2nd filter, then from there I returned into my IP front timing cover plate...- ttman4

I have seen a few of our block heaters of 600 watts as well as the 1000 watt heaters. Every time I have changed one out I've always made sure I bought a 1000 watt Bheater. And MAKE SURE you use a big enough extension cord going to your truck/BHeater to carry the current!!! I nearly learned the...- ttman4

Where to buy a turbo bumper cutout insert
Josh you ever get some things figured out? Some pics of what I did. I used my plasma to cut holes, inserted my inserts in, then used short screws to thru inset and behind the bumper. Looking for a coolant jug/washer fluid jug for my 87 IDI
Yrs ago when I mted my’99 PS intercooler I had to space out my bumper & grill few inches. I also was wanting to get bunch stuff out of engine compartment so I decided to move the coolant overflow & the windshield washer bottles/jugs down and frontwards and mounted down behind my front bumper...- ttman4

80-91 tilt column rebuild

I got insert & black bumper strap from PNP 15-18 yr ago. Used my plasma to cut holes in my '90 chrome bumper & fastened them on.
