I would carefully cut it open and look to see what it has trapped...
And...I would get another one and put it in...made sure the flow is...
Uh...seeing as the 'Ol One-Ton is 38 years old...and the skid steer is...uh...13 years old...that just might make the tabloids...not to mention the county docket...

This reminds me...there was a guy that used to work with me...years ago...that his ex-wife dragged...
I got my truck started this morning in about 20*F weather and used it to jump start the skid steer to move some materials around on the house project...
Went and got a new battery for the skid steer...put it on trickle charge because you can't expect a new battery to be fully charged...

Thanks to the oval office heros of the 90's...making sure that americans are dependant on oversea suppliers...and making most of us poorer in the process....
Why don'tcha get something older and used or NOS from an internet site...? on the holley pumps you can take off the bottom plate and...
I have one of those..but it is a project I 'might' get to eventually...
Good thing Redandblacksmith did not have to pull the covers on one of those...looks like a hassle...

I just lost a $2 bet with The Girl...over something dumb...(doing a lot of that lately...)...Billy Joel and Elton John did the same song...but...for some reason I could not tell the difference between the...
The time when a limited slip would make a noise would be when the back wheels are spinning at different speeds...like taking a turn or a gradual curve...the clutches or cones would grind if you have...
'A'...not enough lube oil...
'B'...worn out lube oil...

OK....I remember a dumb thing I have done recently...with my truck...
Some time ago I wrote about taking off my front bumper and twisting it to straighten it...and then bolting it back on to get it...pretty much 'redneck straight'...
It was in the 'what did you do with...' thread...
I didn't...
My last post got shrunk down...click to expand to see the whole thing...
And...I can predict that rock auto and o'reilly's are gonna run out of valvecover gaskets...
Oh, crud...if that piece is part of a keeper...you are getting ready to drop a valve...
Look real carefully at each and every valve top and see if that is it
Don't run the engine any more for now until you are sure your valvetrain is sound...
I was sitting in the operators seat of an older Lee-Boy paving machine and had a desperate sinking feeling...

I think that we need to promote the concept...and raise awareness of the work environment the guys that keep the world running have to deal with...
