    Got the bearings in, feels amazing but it seems the bolt holes for the steering shift are too recessed into the bearing, thoughts?

    Just got the, Aluminum lower bearing retainer 1 Upper bearing from bronco graveyard no way in hell I’m taking the tilt apart And a beautiful 9/16-18 die for the steering wheel nut threads since the 5/8 fine threads is pretty well gone Wish me luck I guess

    I used cut toothpicks for the really thin spacing on the yellow and red lines because tape was impractical, Since I somehow got another tach cluster from a parts truck I got I did it again and didn’t use any tape for yellow and red

    Are these supposed to just slide in and out? If so was this really just the snap ring, bearings do have a little slop anyways so I’ll still be doing that if anyone has a link for the one pictured Also twisting input and output opposite meaning the u joint appears to be ok

    But the thin end and filled it down that was years ago so I don’t exactly remember maybe just filing is good?

    Pretty much just need a tail pipe and measure the gap for the strait pipe, pick a muffler and miscellaneous clamps and hangers

    Might have been expensive and taken 2 weeks but it is nice having stuff done without having to actually do it

    Not really sure what happened at the mechanic shop now the steering shaft and move in and out an inch and up and down play is 1/4” so are these rebuildable easily? I’m tired of used columns that have bearing play and just need a fresh start without paying 800$

    I’d like to do a smaller for identification but I could go for black return I’d like to do stainless for the feed because my clutch line stainless and turbo feed

    Also putting the filter/ pump set up right around where the fuel selector valve, is that too far from the tank or should I go for closer?

    What size should the return be? 7.3 is 1/4” on the engine but changes to 5/16
