    Just a different co figuration of caps. Tees and elbows in different spots. Same diameters for O rings. What are you lubcricating your o rings with? I will either buy a harbor freight box of misc o rings, or get a set from a vendor, and I lube them up with a glob of vaseline. Rarely have one leak.

    Im sure you could find someone with an ambulance package that has dual alts, it may sacrifice the ac compressor, or use a proprietary bracket/belt.

    The quotes I've gotten won't total it, and the hood is still in remarkably good shape for its age. The plan is to fix it and paint it still, just waiting until Wednesday to light a fire under the guy to make him pay or go through insurance.

    If you are going to turbo, I would bare minimum do the head gaskets while it is apart, if it is the factory stamped steel gasket, im sure it is tired and may blow. All new gaskets are composite.

    I thought about it, but unfortunately the paint has split in a few spots, and the seam seal on the bottom side has split too, so I'm kind of SOL and have to have it painted.

    Not today but yesterday, my neighbors were having a tree fell, and one landed on my camper and truck. Camper is okay, but hood and cowl have a sizeable ding. Of course owner of the company is trying to lowball me. Jokes on him, I keep full coverage on my truck. It'll get fixed... Just sucks...

    I would suggest getting a set of injectors and a pump from a reputable shop. I had a napa pump once, and it only lasted 6000 miles before I ran into hot start problems. It's not the cheapest option, but you're garunteed to get a good set.

    Just to also toss my 2¢ out there, it could be that it is just that wore out. I had a stock block with stock pistons give good compression numbers and one hole was wore out by a lot, measured around 4.147 on one hole, rest were 4.12. Your safest bet is to measure the piston.
