    welp, the NP271 yoke did not fit the 1345, diameter of the output is double the size of the 1345, so.. we put the flange back on the 271. and we cut down a front driveshaft and made it 5" shorter... we are just about to install it and see how it does... not forgetting to weld the spring perches...

    so from this video, with the lift of the truck and the shortness of the driveshaft, it appears that i need to swap to a 1345 transfer and then run a DC shaft i know the driveshaft is at a pretty good angle.

    well, i had some time to work on this today. cut the spring perches off, and ive almost got the angles dialed in. looks like im gonna need yet another driveshaft. i had to go pick the boys up, so i didnt weld anything. here are the pics you asked for

    i have not cured this issue yet. but im going to swap rear diff's. today i prepped the other 10.5 i took the 1350 yoke off the rearend installed, and changed it on the new diff. super duty rearends have a flange, and im swapping to a yoke did a crush sleeve eliminator, and a new pinion seal...

    A LITTLE UPDATE. theres a 4 degree difference in the diff to trans angle. seems within spec, but i may drop the trans down a bit to compensate. ive removed the driveshaft, and ran it through the gears, with no vibration. next is to rotate tires from the back to the front, before changing...

    the clutch is bran new from Napa. it bolted right up. i ditched the needle pilot bearing and installed a kevlar bushing the transmission, was just re manufactured. not to mention the other 2 transmissions did the same exact thing. im going through the process of elimination, and its kicking me...

    the roll over does not occur until im driving above 30 mph. it does have a SMF and im positive its installed correctly.

    someone shortened it before i got it. but as you said, its too short! just bought thi bus, for parts, and gonna lengthen mine so i can sleep indoors. and a pop up tent on the roof for the kids! still working on striping the frame. have had lots of things going on lately.

    update. finally got the parts truck in, and stripped. gotta deliver the promised goods to the previous owner, which made the parts truck FREE. now time to cut the grease, and paint then replace all the stuff.
