    what color smoke? you need to pull the cold advance terminal and test for 12v. the temp switches that activate the high idle and cold advance likes to go bad. esp if youre doing your own wiring with those awful butt connectors

    i would definitely relocate glow plug controller. you dont want your wires anywhere near the turbo.

    oil pan is now sealed and trans is back in. onward to funner projects!

    got the trans out, oil pan gooped up and now its sealed. fairly confident about it sealing. it wasnt fun, but its done. ill put the trans back in tomorrow
