    I do not think 7 psi is stock. I have run 7 psi on a old radiator I was nursing along. But 13 psi sounds more like the stock pressure. And you can go on up to 16 psi if your radiator is in good shape.

    If you can get the diagrams for the ambulance body, it would be helpful. That is the problem, the ambulance people buy the chassis/cab cut-off van, and then modify it extensively for the ambulance body. And their documentation is not the greatest, with not much support for older stuff.

    The return system with the caps and o-rings are very low pressure. I would not think a leak there would spray. But the fuel coming out of the tip of the injector is another story, it's at 1800 psi. I would suspect the hard line connection on top of the injector. They are easy to cross thread.
