    I started using a needle scaler on some parts and figured out it is pretty aggressive. It will leave some marks in the metal. I switched to a wire wheel (and drug some parts to work and threw them in the industrial sand blaster)

    Well I went and looked at the parts I recently replaced on mine and they will not fit the 93. Now I am not an expert but, looking at 8some of the parts they are compatible with both refrigerant.     My 1994 has r134 and looking at your pictures all the components look the same or at least very similar to what is on mine. I know that isn't the best help but you may be able to use the same but new parts

    I received a package from Wyoming today :Thumbs Up have not had a chance to open it yet but it is in the trunk of my car at work and I think I will have to check it out on break. Got lucky and caught this item in stock. Pretty excited to get it installed

    I think your best bet is to have your alternator tested and if it is working correctly I would guess the voltage regulator is giving up. If I recall correctly sometimes when they are failing they will work sporadically but eventually fail all together.

    It looks like your oem guage thinks your battery has zero volts. Maybe a dash wire/sending wire.

    It doesn't self drain but that knurled knob on top is a dipstick so you can see how much is in it and the bottom cup spins off and is o-ring sealed
