    IdiClb? IndadesertClb?....lol Have a couple out there now using the lift pump from the 93 mechanical 6.5 trucks. One truck is turbod and if it goes anywhere, has a 10k+ trailer behind it. Seems to be doing ok. Time will tell.

    never have driven one with the map sensor unplugged, must be following a default fuel map based on rpm/tps? Is the hose from the intake to the map sensor restricted in any way? They will make no power if the map never gets boost. Might want to make sure that turbo is properly sized for a driver...

    Looks like the ambulance package in the late idi years was v belts and the big leece neville alt. Was hoping there was something like the 7.3ps uses that put another 3g down low. Putting it in place of the ac compressor is a good idea, but I like the ac in this truck.

    Do you know for sure that the tank valve isnt returning some fuel to the other tank? Are you sure your odo is correct, not based on speedo accuracy, but actually matches miles travelled? You really are not doing much if any better than 460mpg......

    Have not checked any real mpg numbers for a long time, but rarely get less than 200 miles per tank before switching pulling anywhere from 5-10k. Last time I checked mpg, was pulling empty trailer at 80 for 5 hours, seems like that was about 15 3.55 gears. And yes, most people are full of it...

    Using a vac filler isnt complicating anything, it greatly simplifies filling any cooling system. have you actually worked on cars for a living, or do you just claim that as part of your know everything act? There is ALWAYS something to learn.......

    Pretty common for the replacement pumps to leak these days. Dont know the answer for sure, but probably be better converting to electric.

    If it has that much oil coming out of the turbo exhaust housing, oil must not be draining correctly from the turbo back to the engine.

    How many gph do we need? The ds4 pump 6.5 uses a different specd lift pump(looks the same), but the 93 and earlier use a db2, cant imagine the fueling requirements from a mildish turbo 6.9 7.3 being much different than a 93 6.5 td?????
