Right you are. And Hypermax makes an intercooler kit designed to work with either their Pulse kit or the ATS 093. My only complaint is the leaks on the exhaust side can be difficult to seal up. I might switch my 91 to an 093 kit someday.
I’ll just say this. I’ve had the good and the bad with CDD. I will do business with them, but they’re not my first choice… I can sympathize with the like and dislike of their service.
I also know someone very close who had a real rough run through with them, he’s out on their products, and...
It’s possible. You could put a gauge of some kind on the Schrader valve in the fuel filter head, or a more permanent gauge in one of the other ports on the filter head.
It should be. Do you have a boost gauge? What does it show when uphill and putting some pedal into it? What EGTs are you seeing?
If your EGTs are staying under 1200, maybe start with a flat or two, you can adjust it easily enough, shouldn’t have to mess with it more than a couple of times to...
Spent some money on some new shoes (more like work boots) for my service truck. The front tires currently on it are in good shape, but the rears are at 30% tread, and only 20k miles on all 6 tires. This truck is too heavy. So upgrading to 19.5s from 16s. These F-Superduty trucks should have come...
Ahem… (cough cough)

(A) Problem solved!
But yeah, definitely check out what’s going on inside your tanks.
Are basically impossible to seal the first time in my experience. Oil the second new set of O rings, after cleaning everything up with a rag first. Should go right on, leak free. The first set always gets a bit cut up in my experience.
I had a couple of those, they sure didn’t last very long. But I had the same short-lived experience with the Holley pumps.
What I have found to work best is to use a 7.3 Powerstroke stock fuel lift pump, and a fuel pressure regulator.
Justin at R&D makes these kits, I have one that I am...
@Jesus Freak
wait a minute wait a minute what about 6 way manual valves?

HMMMMM??? LOL
Went and picked it up. It’s been rebuilt, and through a strange turn of events I bought it for way too cheap. It’s a 2WD unit, but these are easy to convert to 4WD, as the tail housing isn’t the main housing, and the tailshaft comes out from that end, unlike an E4OD. The 4WD parts are in the...
Thomas County. Went through Edmond the other day. I was in a rush though. Going via Norton is a lot smoother to get on 36 to get to the southeast corner of Nebraska, where we just finished working, and thus moved equipment west.
I’d have preferred that he had chose to be a little bit nicer and stuck around, y’know? You don’t have to agree with the majority, but at least be nice to the new people asking questions, instead of telling them why they need to rethink their entire way of working in their truck, and being...
