    That plug would of course be needed to make any kind of boost. Hypermax customer service is some of the best that I have ever experienced. Their products are spectacular as well. Get it all fixed up and I’d bet it will run real good.

    That’s the way I see it Hey, I did it. If I can do it, you can do it. It’s not super expensive, it is a learning experience, and it is a worthwhile skill. These engines are pretty forgiving tolerance wise, if something is just a little out of spec, it’ll probably be fine.

    My truck seems to like 6-7*, but there are many factors. For instance, my injectors are set at a slightly higher pop pressure. That would in theory retard timing, but each pump is unique and due to the nature of the dynamic timing systems on our IPs, each pump really ought to be set differently...

    Pulling a 18k lb trailer in summer I have seen 310 on the tranny. Gauge stops at 320 yeesh Truck weighs ~16k loaded with tools 250-260 is usually where it sits, fully warmed up no trailer at steady 65 mph Rear diff usually stays at 160-170, can get 190 with a trailer on the interstate

    On a side note, many of you are probably aware that the ZF6 transmissions are equipped with a pump and a cooler. I honestly wish that Ford did the same with the ZF5, they too get very very hot… pulling heavy in 5th can get the temps up around 280… yeah… use good clean synthetic fluid in them...

    Even with a full tank, mine would get hot very fast. The DB2 pumps process lots of fuel, and return most of it. That’s the reason why they don’t gel as easily as a Cummins, which doesn’t return near as much fuel, typically regardless of IP type. Not sure if this actually causes problems or is...

    2 hours, but I had multiple bad experiences in a row with LMC so I would rather go with somewhere else. If I order in the morning, sometimes I get same day delivery. Wound up ordering from Gas Tank Depot, it doesn’t appear they’ve shipped yet though.
