    Time to move on...

That things clean as a bean. If it was 4x4 I'd bring it to my dad's attention, it'd live a good life hauling hay. I bet a contractor will pick it up soon. Bummer you have to move on but as you said, all good things come to an end. At least you didn't ride it hard and put it away wet, someone...

Melted wait to start/water in fuel module light

While cleaning the garage the other day I accidentally knocked over a cup of acetone onto my wait to start module and now the face has a frosted finish to it. Obviously the acetone reacted with the plastic and now it's hard to read. Anyone have any thoughts as to how to get the damage off? I...

Rattling noise above 25mph in glove box/firewall area

Awesome thanks! Iove how the instructions require the use of a 2x4. No stupid special $200 widget required, just dig around in the shed for some scrap.

Needing picture of stock 7.3L non turbo

Hi folks, If someone has a completely stock non turbo they could take a pic of and send to me I'd appreciate it. My truck hasn't had a ton of owners but it was owned by a farmer and I suspect things have been rerouted and deleted under the hood over the years due to various empty looms...

Rattling noise above 25mph in glove box/firewall area

Hi folks, This is driving me nuts. I have a rattling sound in the vicinity of the glove box/firewall. It sounds like a coin bumping around in a vent or a screw bouncing around or two chipmunks fighting. I've pulled the fender liner, wiper vent cowl screen and glove box and can't find...

So what did you do with your truck today?

Pressure washed the engine after soaking it in rustoleum heavy duty degreaser. That stuff is awesome. Have an oil leak I'm trying to run to ground. Now that I can actually see the engine through the grime should help. PO wasn't big on fixing leaks.

    OBS digital dashboard on gofundme

I emailed him to ask if he plans to do a diesel and if not I volunteered one of my spare clusters and to be a test mule. If he replies I'll ask him about the analog gauges. I agree I like the analog better meself but the oem gauges drive me to drinking. Yes I know I can add aftermarket but I...

Oh yeah I know man, just giving you a ration. I can't blame you since it's your transportation; I have the luxury of my truck being for hunting and recreation. Glad to hear you're safe, that's the main thing.

    1st post. Advice on safely re-starting a 94 7.3

I'm not sure the compression of our engines but it should turn pretty easy with your breaker bar on the crank. Not sure if it's necessary with our diesels since they require faster spinning to start but make sure you disconnect the batteries. Watched a buddy throw his breaker bar through the...

    1st post. Advice on safely re-starting a 94 7.3

Yup I gotta agree with macrobb about the hood seal. Mine is crusty and if we get a stiff rain I get a puddle of water on my intake cover. How does your intake look? Any signs of water or rust intrusion? Fact that water is separated from oil, I agree with everyone else. Fill er up and light...

Took the kids for frozen yogurt. They love riding around in the "diesel" even if it's for short trips.

What a difference new plugs make, thanks for all the help

Picked up my 94 in September and as it was still in the 80s here in VA she always started immediately. Well, as things got colder she eventually started getting harder and harder to start till eventually I was having to use the cold start procedure as the temps were in the 20s, blowing white...

90-95ish? F150/F250 shoulder belt , drivers side front.

Looking for the retractable shoulder portion of the seatbelt for my 94 F250. It's my understanding an F150 will fit also, years 88-96 I think will work, not super picky on color, either black/blue/gray would work, don't care if it's stained or dirty I can wash it.

    New member 94 F250 7.3L idi 4x4

Been lurking here for awhile, decided to join. Picked up this 94 idi about 6 months ago for hunting. It's in great shape, little rust spot on rr fender, no rust on frame. Everything works. Has the typical broken dash bezel. Picked it up with 215k on the clock, runs great. PO had the tranny...
