    OK I am going to call this a rookie mistake its a SKF scots seal that rotates internally. I have never changed one of these or seen a seal like this. Now that I understand how it works it looks right. Thanks everyone for the help!!

    as far as I can tell its just the old seal one side is mostly steel and is stamped air side. I still need to take a better look at it after I put it in and it did not seam right i started running new brake lines and other stuff my truck needs.

    So I am taking the hydro boost off of my 88 fsuperduty and putting it on my new to me 93 f350. I am a little confused to witch master cylinder is better I have both so can use either one. Any one need the brake pedal from a 88 SD?
