89 IDI NA, Clatter on occasion at start or coming off throttle?

Deciding on new tires
IDK about those brands but im running Nexen MTR 235/85/16s on my f250 in fact I have had such good luck with em and they where so inexpensive I bought em in different sizes for all my rigs, they last pretty long, pretty sticky and not to Noisy simple tires has em on sale regularly and free...- Oldfrogdiving

62 ranchero with an OM617
Sweet! I have an OM617 sitting on a 50 something Ford f1 truck frame with front cab of a 2000 ranger, back bed of a s10, its a long-term project but I traded a 22 rifle for it! I really want to put that OM617 in my 71 W200 but not sure about mating the bellhousing to the tranny to the engine.- Oldfrogdiving

I just used my 89 f250 IDI to salvage a hurricane beached sailboat that was getting crushed. It was on the way to the scrap yard got it for 300 bucks! I drive it regularly, but im starting to have an issue with the NP435 syncros, when i got it home started to check all the fluids the tranny and the front diff full of water, flushed both of em multiple times.
