    well thats what i thought too but when coverted over to a draft tube there is little blow by at all. I think the seal of the turbo is going as i still have oil leaking through the silcone boot.

    ok i plan on getting one of the ones on ebay but they look like they come with wastegates? it has a rubber line that goes to the front of the turbo and goes into the housing. Also can you use a aftermarket diamond eye hx40 downpipe? looks like it could fit?

    also could it be the glow plugs as they are original with 231k miles and they are 20 years old i have already replaced the glow plug relay with the correct 4 poll.

    yes its runs but only if the glow plugs turn on when starting. Yes i believe the gauge is off but it might not be the tstat as most of my gauges are off already.
