Also it's usually clean, no carbon or metal bits. Which is a plus. Do you know what weight it is?

    Coalescing(fuel/water seperator) Fuel Filter?

I have to some old diesel and jet fuel that is a little hazy. Anyone ever come up with a cheap Coalescing filter set up? Good vid Seems like the racor turbine filters like the 1000fg filters would work pretty good. Thoughts/experiences?

Diesel craft centrifuges in mobile setup

Nice stock pile ttman4! I have only done wmo so I don't know about wvo. What do you think that is making it harder to get? It is harder to get wvo around here because so many want it and biodiesel manufactors. So I started with wmo and never needed to grab up wvo. I really like wmo personally.

Diesel craft centrifuges in mobile setup

Yah I would think that would work if you pump had enough flow to keep both up to pressure. Maybe valve and pressure gauge for each one so each one would get the correct pressure? I was thinking the output of one going into the input of the second. But interesting idea. There would be a pressure...

Filtered wmo in carbureted oil stove?

Well chatted with a guy that tried a few things. He had some good information. He said, viscosity is the big thing for the regulator. I don't know how well he filtered it. But getting solids out is important. He tried wmo with heat, new veg oil, and blended veg/kerosene. Results were wmo coked...

Filtered wmo in carbureted oil stove?

Yah I have wanted to rig up a home oil furnace to burn the stuff for years. I have seen some cool mods for them. It's the way to go. Syphon nozzle, heater block, etc. Burns really clean too. But I kinda looking for a quiet and none electric. Maybe even a fireplace ambiance. I think it would...

Filtered wmo in carbureted oil stove?

Anyone ever try to burning filtered wmo in a oil stove that uses a carburetor fuel flow control? Like these Thinking centrifuged and small tank next to the stove so it stays warm. Possibly thinned with kerosene. Or two tanks and start/stop on diesel/kerosene then run on wmo. They all seem to...

Diesel craft centrifuges in mobile setup

Can these centrifuge be put in series? To potentially make them single pass? Thinking up to maybe 2 or more. Now that I think of it, I don't think it can work. I do want to get a second gravity centrifuge to put in series to see how much more I can pull out from my current set up but that is easy

Diesel craft centrifuges in mobile setup

Turned out the guy ended up only having the oc-20 and not the oc-50 too. Oh well still a good deal. Simple green and hot water did work. It was able to get all the sticky residue off too. Hotel soap on the brush and simple green worked better then just simple green. I soaked the parts in some...

Diesel craft centrifuges in mobile setup

I definitely think boiling water to soften it up nicely. I will probably have to try that at home. Hotwater pressure washer is something I might try out too

Diesel craft centrifuges in mobile setup

Anyone have good luck getting old baked on wvo off of things? I have tried hot water and dawn, hotel bar soap and hot water, avgas, and now hot water and Tide pod. Lol Going to try brake clean and maybe some heavy duty kitchen cleaner. Maybe some dish detergent. A friend suggested the dish...

Sludge/water and oil seperator for ibc tote

Sorry, it is a little confusing. The tote is on its side so I could get the valve off to put it together without sludge leaking out. Yep for me it is to feed my centrifuge, but it could be used to settle and de-water oil/fuel then pull settled fuel off with a pump or gravity. It could take the...

WMO centrifuge system finally up and running!

I bet the black rtv works good. Haven't tried that yet, but will keep it in my back pocket for later. I have used the white PTFE and mixed results too. Old employer used gasoila for fueling hoses and seem to be good. It says have a wide range for the temps and compatible with most petroleum...

Diesel craft centrifuges in mobile setup

Makes sense, don't think that is to hot for wmo. I am curious now. Do you have pictures of the sludge? I was wondering how much dissolved water the fuge will pull out. I have seen droplets in the bowl sometimes. Kinda fun to tinker with. thanks! edit: I see in thread the post of the sludge...

Sludge/water and oil seperator for ibc tote

Natehimself36 had this idea he gets credit. His efficient design Maybe someone came up with this before. Not sure. Maybe someone can find this useful. Anyone else make something like this? Got pics? Simpler setup? Made some mods, over complicated now lol I am in the process of...

Diesel craft centrifuges in mobile setup

This is a preliminary sketch. Might have to put the air tanks vertical for space. Bbjordan, how hot are you getting it? just currious I guess that is possible. I have never got it hot enough to get it polymerize since I am doing single pass at a time and my heater has a thermostat control...
