    Fellas, New OEM Ford FSV just installed. Not switching. Test light giving a faint light on the yellow/white connector pin (fuel gauge reading). Any idea why there's no juice from the other connector wires?

    I painted my truck one piece at a time

    Maybe 1 qt of the tan and 1qt of the brown basecoat (Omni) with equal parts medium reducer (just buy a gallon)? 3 to 4 coats of clearcoat total (maybe 3 kits of gallon clear?) Then wet sanded with 1500, finished with 2000 grit, then buffed. I did this piece by piece as time allowed, about 1.5yr...

    Resprayed the hood. When I painted this the first time, I'd left a little of the original finish that was no good.. big mistake, should have stripped it. Anyways hopefully this is the last time!

    I'd guess the IDI world must be pretty free of snowflakes. We have to be pretty manly and greasy to keep these trucks rolling.

    It was the Chinese special: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08B3VCZVG/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_8?smid=A29CJJ2HZL47LM&psc=1 Lasted about 4yrs. I did have to splice in a new pigtail for it to work, it really hurts cutting the factory wiring.

    I just couldn't figure out why the rear tank wouldn't take any fuel. It was completely full but supposed to be empty. I mean, I'd driven almost 200mi on it.. hmm.. but the front tank was nearly empty? Fuel Selector Valve replacement time... nothing like a cold diesel shower.

    Woke up abruptly at 1am last night to a strange and constant very loud noise. Scared me, ventured all through the house, firearm in hand just in case, and it got louder towards the back door, where my truck is parked. The horn was stuck on! Blaring like crazy.. took me a bit to get the batteries...

    Unloaded my old bathroom (concrete and tile) at the dump. 1200lbs. My truck after unloading and with about 24gal of fuel only weighed 6340lbs, thought it was heavier than that.
