Tire Suggestions
I'm on my second set of BFG M/T and it will be my last. You see ALL FOUR of the original set had BAD belt seperations. How big of tires....
I have 285/75 16 BFG Muds on my 99 SD. Got lots of room on stock wheels. Would think you could go to a 305 if they make such a size to fit 17" wheels. Go & contact the Tire Rack. They are the gurus of tire fitment in the world! Look at the new Bridgestone Revo II's . Put them on my sons...- The Hunter

5.4L in a SUPER DUTY
I have a '99 with a 5.4, 5 speed. 4.10 gears in a SC 4X4. I love the truck . It has 43K on it & runs great. Have taken it way too many places off road it should NEVER have gone. But towing my 8Klb travel trailer in the mountains??? Need a Power Stroke! It never got outstanding mileage. Best...- The Hunter
