ford dealer isnt much better. I called and asked for olives on the fuel lines at the FF head. they had the 3/8 inlet but said the 5/16 outlet I'd have to buy the whole fuel line... thanks to type4 for getting me the olives and return lines! they showed up today and now we are running again! all the fuel lines from the front tank and just past the FSV have been replaced, a new lock ring and gasket for the front tank,a new WIX water seperator and base, and a new WIX fuel...- techson

thanks for that, so the addon hose should be at most 3" past the clamp! I also ordered the Wix 24770 Filter Mounting Base, Amazon.com LLC Wix 33439 Spin-On Fuel and Water Separator Filter, Amazon.com LLC total for both was $47.34- techson

Autozone has the lockring and o-ring in dorman #579-003 pricey at $15 they also said they had about 20 different sock filters and I'm going to see if one of them can be adapted to work with the addon fuel hose does anyone know the correct length of addon hose to replace the showhead? +1...- techson

Thanks a bunch, that helps! Whats this add on your talking about? mine has a piece of fuel line clamped at the end, is that the add on? Has anyone used a sock on there to prefilter whats being sucked up? also i noticed it was prety hard to blow into the return, some kind of tiny wedge filter on...- techson

well I pulled my fuel tank today because it was dripping fuel when full. I expected to find a rusted out sending unit or locking ring, but everything looked ok. ( no rust) there is NO shower head on the end of the sending unit and it's not in the tank either. I have a 4" piece of fuel line at...- techson

ok, so I got the front tank out today. I can't see any damage as to why it was leaking, other than the big oring under the sending unit is pretty crusty and old. the sending unit has the ford logo and E3TF-9275-AC there wasn't a shower head on the pick up and I siphoned ALL the fuel outa the...- techson

Wy, thanks for the reply! olives huh :) ok that turned up a bunch of posts. I'll be getting some of those from Type4 hopefully. I'm afraid I didn't make myself clear as this one DOES have the heater in the fuel line from lift pump to fuel filter. this is the one that has the disintegrated...- techson
