    There is nothing illegal with the the way yours is set up Kevin. But a gravity feed from a aux tank into the main tank is illegal in most states.

    Here's an idea. Check out www.galls.com. They sell all kinds of stuff to police, fire, and rescue. They have the racks for mounting radios and switch panels in patrol cars and fire trucks. You may find one there that you can use for the CB and make a panel for switches and gauges.

    Short shifter - anyone using?

    Shouldn't. All it does is shorten the throw between gears, so if anything the shifter wouldn't get as close to the radios as it does now. Unless, of course, I don't understand how your stuff is laid out.
