Picked up my E99 zf6
I've only ever had one cam sensor go bad, I think Double S makes a good point put a new one in a save the other as a spare. Check your HPOP hoses and fuel hoses, they degrade over time. Also the orings on the oil rail plugs and where the HPOP hose connect will weep with age. E99 use a different...- sheepman

Modify OBS PCM to run SD tunes?
Did you contact riffraff about your issues? I don't remember who programs PCMs anymore, there are differences in the SD & OBS PCMs, things like processor speed and memory to name two. any 6.9 fuel water separator alternatives?
IIRC the stock 6.9L thread size is 7/8-14 and the 7.3L is 1-14. Please correct me if I’m wrong. I went with the 7.3L because I had a few from trucks I parted out. I’ve never had one leak, not say they don’t from the heater hole. The one that’s on the 84’ I replaced the oring with Viton from...- sheepman

I posted this in another thread.... When I bypassed the factory water separator on the firewall on our 6.9L. I Installed a 7.3L IDI filter mount ford part # F2Z-9B249-A with a WIX 33417 Filter (Nominal micron rating of 14). It’s a Simple update/repair IMO. Plug the unused ports on the filter...- sheepman

does FORD has a dept. where to get valid techn. data which I can use for registration?
Ford did have a department you can contact. You provide the vin and they will send you some the info they have on the vin. You can also look under the flooring for the build sheet. They’re not freshly rebuilt. Spins nice and looks good. I’m going to try to take it to the alternator shop this week, I’m sure all will be good. Chinese bearings from what I can see.- sheepman
