    Lost my brakes

Your rear shoes on one side are soaked with brake fluid or gear lube or both. It also sounds like maybe your fronts aren't quite up to par, I would check your brake hoses (rubber).

    Buyer Beware: Sterling Hub Socket

I bet it's a new issue with NAPA. That socket is actually a Dana socket. I have a OTC Stinger 5 piece set and my socket worked perfectly when I did my hub seals. I would talk to NAPA ( a manager) and let them know.

    MT480 on ebay (ended)

I just bought a Ferret box and Inova timing light so I wasn't in any hurry to shell out some bucks, but man that thing was sweet looking. I'm a sucker for Snap-On tools, I just couldn't believe no one was bidding on it. When I first saw it with 3 min. remaining it was like 148.50 with 1 bid...

    aftermarket wheels

I'm not a fan of aftermarket wheels. I'm sure there are good ones out there but the majority of the ones I see are junk. Chome plated aluminum definately doesn't work. Some of the cheaper cast aluminum has air pockets in them and when they start to corrode exposes the pocket and you have leaks...

CL/KC Snap On Diesel Timing Meters

I don't think he's trying to pitch anything. It seemed to me he was being honest. One's missing the probe, the other the main display is messed up. Sounds like the display could be fixed. And if you could get or "make" a probe. You'd have 2 meters.

    Whats this part?

Ha! Now I know what that is on mine! PO zip tied it to the A/C condeser line. The steel line running through it is gone. I thought it was some kind of temp sensor for the A/C.

Eagle River Customs truck? 93 7.3L IDIT

I heard bad things about those Mr. Gasket ones. I just put a Delphi in mine and am pretty happy with it. I have a Walbro I will put on the frame rail at some point but I went this route for ease of setup for the intial install. It's a Delphi FD0002. 5-7 psi. Solenoid style pump. I believe it has...

where to get a 4spd HD clutch?

I just put a new Luk in my 87 T19. It's the 12" upgrade. Although I don't pull or haul anything and it's better than my old one I'm not very impressed with it. It feels like a car clutch to me. The out of box experience was not very impressive either. Looked like a inexpensive, economy car...

    oil pressure warning

Get a sending unit out of a vehicle that doesn't have gauges (warning light) and run it to a buzzer instead of a light. You'll need a 1/8" NPT T fitting. One end male with 2 female ends. As for the buzzer you might be able to find something that you can load a mp3 (ringtone?) onto...
