Is truck work it?
Found this truck, 1988 F250 ex cab 4x4 7.3 5spd 150,000 miles. Driven every once in awhile, runs and drives fine. Trans and clutch strong. No leaks. Never used to pull, only used as another vehicle to get around in. Only problem is you have to have at least 5 gallons of fuel in the tank or it...- RedneckDrummer

Should I buy a 1993 gmc 6.5 turbo.....
Hey guys. I found a 1993 gmc 4x4 reg cab 6.5 turbo diesel. Has all power options, 191000 miles. Very straight and clean. Are these 6.5s reliable? What type of mpg should i expect? How well does the 6.5 do as just a daily driver? Just wondering should I call on this truck or let it pass?:dunno- RedneckDrummer

Thanks guys for all the info!!! What about turbo kits? Which is best for the IDIs? I've heard turbos bring the mpg up slightly. How much boost can the IDI engines handle safely along with the fuel pump turned 1/8 or 1/6 up?- RedneckDrummer
