New truck???
I almost forgot it has the auto tranny and he will be towing a 8,000lb 5th wheel. Will that tranny handle towing a trailer? Also I've been told the truck is bone stock.- pullcat

New truck???
Hey guys My Father in-law was looking to buy a 7.3 but what he found was a 2003 6.0 with 105,000 miles on it. I'm not personaly familiar with this engine but have heard of some strange stuff. Should he be scared to buy this truck? Thanks- pullcat

Tans Temp in auto trans?
The next thing on my "MUST DO LIST" is a tranny gauge. Are my only options for the location either in the return line or in the pan, or does my C6 have a port like the E40D for the sendor? I was getting ready to install one in the return line but then I heard a rumor that was not a good spot.- pullcat

No Fuel??? (after intercooler install)
O.k. today I went and picked up a holley red pump, and will install it this weekend. Hopefully this will solve my no fuel problem. Has anyone heard of a fairly new lift pump just stop working? I don't know what else it could be. I just hope this holley pump will get me running again.- pullcat

I finally broke down and bought a new Hypermax intercooler. I finished installing it today, I jumped in fired it up, it ran for about two seconds and then died. I tried bleeding it at the fuel filter head with no luck. After several attempts with no fuel, I removed the filter and it was...- pullcat

I know hypermax says 30% increase in horse power and 200 degree drop in egt's. If that was true I think it would do the trick. The question is are people really seeing those numbers???- pullcat

About a month ago I took out the 3 inch exhaust and went to 5 inch no muffler. It helped a little but not much, sounds real good though.- pullcat

Last year I installed a turbo thinking it was going to solve all my problems. Don't get me wrong it does have alot more power. But I use my truck for mainly pulling a 6,000lb camp trailer, and every long grade I pull I have to do so half throttle because of the 1250 egt's. The question is...- pullcat

Truck's all back together, with a MOOSE PUMP!
Hey Brandon, How does does the exhaust sound with the 5 inch pipe? Did you loose any of the high rpm cackle? Do you think it helped out your egt's? Where did you purchase your tailpipe? I would love see some video of how your exhaust sound. Oh by the way great job!!!- pullcat
