Most in the US and Canada are 1.9 liter 90 HP 155 ft/lb. Easily chipped to 116 HP 195 ft/lb. Chipped engines have about the same performance as a 1.8 T gasser up to about 50 mph - a bit less top end. You can easily get 50 mpg on the highway so with the 16+ gallon tank you're talking 800 miles...- OilBurnerBob
