I have an E-350 6.9 Landmark with a C6. At 60mph I doing 2800 MOM'S. I plan on getting the transmission rebuilt does it matter what year E4OD I START WITH ??? I plan on pulling a 3-car trailer , from what I've read a stage 2 rebuild will work
Can't drive this anymore at 2800rpm's doing 58mph. A gear vendor is probably the easiest. An E4OD rebuilt to handle the diesel with an aftermarket controller is an option. I've heard a drop of 500rpm's with the GV & possibly more with the E4OD. I am looking for all the feedback I can get...
The connection is probably my issue , in my quest to save a buck because I was out of work with rotator cuff surgery I made my own wire harnesses. I thought I connected them good. Soldered them up. Maybe not good enough
My 86 Ford 6.9 glo plug modual was upgraded to the new 7.3. The 1 that came with it when key turned clicked about 10times. My new one clicks literally 50+ times. Is that normal ????

Actually its crazy , the return line closet to the driver is stopped with fuel. It's a braided hose / line. U can see fuel like oozing out in the middle of the hose. Are those caps supposed to move / spin at all ???
I'm looking for fuel return lines , was gonna buy the cheapest but read up & they don't fit good. What's a good brand of return fuel lines for a 1987 Ford 6.9 deisel
