Seems like aluminum would be the best choice to me also. The evaporater coil fins are completely clogged from what I could tell. I might as well open it all the way up and give it a good cleaning. Word to the wise. It May be worth while to pull your blower fans off every once in a while and clean out the debris. Or you can do what I did today and frantically remove your blower motor in a parking lot while smoke is bellowing out your vents and hoping you get it opened up before they turn...- matthew mcelhaney

I just picked up some hotshot stiction eliminator from walmart to try. Didnt find any comparison videos on it but the ones I did find says they use some new proprietary chemistry.- matthew mcelhaney

1993 7.3 military ambulance up for auction
Ran across a 1993 7.3 non turbo automatic on a military surplus auction in Albany GA. I was hoping it had the ZF5 in it so I could swap it for my T-19. Posting this hoping this may benefit someone out there. Link to site bellow...- matthew mcelhaney

Overdrive unit question
What sort of mileage increase do you hope to see with this unit. Sounds like you and I have the same set up with the exception mine is a f350. I am very interested to see how this works out for you and may attempt this myself based on your results.- matthew mcelhaney

Not 100 percent positive on how the selector valve functions but if it is a solenoid type valve as I think it would be, it may be stuck causing a complete blockage. That could explain why you made it 3 miles after flipping the switch and had air in the system. I would pull the Fuel line off and...- matthew mcelhaney

I will have to check into that. I never really gave it much thought cause it’s piped to the filters parallel not in series and the over all filter surface area should be greater and the flow rate should be the same or higher. But I have been wrong before. Ha- matthew mcelhaney

I have the gauge made just haven’t tried it yet. The dual filter setup was on it when I got it. It replaces the single large canister filter with the 2 filter setup you see in pic. Never had to buy one of the stock large filters but I’m guessing maybe they are harder to come by now so they made...- matthew mcelhaney

Ok! So haven’t posted anything on this topic recently due to my extreme frustration on the subject. Still seeing poor braking after replacing booster master cylinder proportional valve all hoses and checking the distance from the booster piston to the master cylinder. Really not sure what to do...- matthew mcelhaney

Here in Georgia we don’t see those kind of temperatures thank God! I believe our coldest day so far this year was low 20’s. Which in my opinion is to cold!! Ha- matthew mcelhaney
