Smoke out of oil dipstick tube
ok, this may seem like a stupid q but i gotta ask cause i am nervous now, but I noticed the other day that when the truck was idleing, and I opened the oil fill up tube, smoke was comming out, I didnt think much of it, but is this normal, or is something wrong? I was thinking of putting a Y adaptor right at the intake, then have one 5in pipe go to the cowl and another go right next to the radiator, or the fenderwell........I dont know what are your thoughts on that one? Fuel tank selector valve is bad
That sounds really cool, I was thinking of doing the gravity feed line, but the mech. one is still better than the ele. switch. I am really nervous that mine will go out. I believe i read in the owners man. that if it is galvanized the diesel will corrode it.....not sure for sure but I am...- mariobusalacch

I posted a thread about a noise comming from the fan belt tensioner.....well I replaced that with a brand new one, and it still squeeks, so now I have concluded it is comming from my a/c compressor........the compressor is actually siezed up, so I thought it would be ok just don't turn it on...- mariobusalacch

Fan Belt Tensioner
I did replace the belt last week, the pulleys look straight as well, but I was going through the paperwork, and all the mechanic bills the guy gave me and one says "needs new tensioner" and it just so happends there is a brand new one from motorcraft in the truck........LOL huh.......so I guess...- mariobusalacch

I noticed a squeeking sound comming from my engine today, it turns out it is comming from my fan belt tensioner.......it looks like the thing is moving a little bit (it is tightly fastend to the mount, and doesnt move there, but moves where the pivot is) and that is what seems to cause it to...- mariobusalacch

Fuel Filter/ fuel tanks Help
Ok, I have injector cleaner in the fuel already, I'm ordering a new ip anyways, hopefully it last........I did end up draining the tanks, just bought an elec. Pump, just to be safe. This thing likes the new feul though..lol thanks for all the help- mariobusalacch
