    I had this very problem when I replaced the parking brake cables on both rear wheels a week ago. (sticking per previous owner) So on the advice of one of the members here, I went back to the rear tires and adjusted the stars inside the wheels to grab the drums until they wouldn't turn at all...

    Thanks Clb... yes I did. The book stated to adjust the stars until the drum will just slide on, and then until there is slight resistance to movement of the wheel... which is exactly what I did. So now I think I'm gonna bleed the system...gonna have to wait until it stops raining... ( Oregon...
