Seeing this truck rotting away is killing me! Someone rescue it!
I'd say get it.. I'm about to go 100 miles to pickup a parts F-350 powerstroke truck for my Powerstroke swap in my 1991 F-450 for $600 has a bad HPOP.. I sold my 1994 IDI F-250 without a motor for $800 100% rust free condition. It wasn't a money issue, just didn't feel like fooling with a truck...- JosieGallows

UPDATE: I went to a salvage yard and all they had was a 1996 E350 1996 Powerstroke Van. Are the wiring harnesses the same? It's a complete donor with all wiring harness. I just now bought the engine on ebay. Having it shipped via freight. EDIT: If anyone needs a 7.3 IDI Turbo block...- JosieGallows

Well, I WAS going to do a 12v swap but $ killed that idea (Would cost $5000 to do 12v also). I have a feeling swapping the PS will be cheaper as I'm NOT rebuilding it since It's such a low mile motor. The ONLY reason I'm going to undertake this is because of the deal I got the PSD for. So me and my dad are going out of state to pick up a first gen 7.3 Powerstroke with only 120k miles on it :O and I'm going to sell all my IDI parts or just slap it all together. 6.9 precup vs 7.3 precup.
I decided to use the 7.3 cups. I don't need the 6.9 cups anymore. I bought the last ones from the site. I'm selling mine for $15 a piece brand new. You can buy all 8 for $100 if you like. I need to get rid of them ASAP.- JosieGallows

How much is a sleeved 7.3 IDI Turbo block worth?
I watched them install only 1 sleeve. They used a gray looking liquid. They told me it is to help with the heat transfer and prevent leaks because they are sleeving a cavitated bore. How much is a sleeved 7.3 IDI Turbo block worth?
They decked .010 off the block. Sleeved on all 8. I took the block to a cheap machine shop because I'm limited on funds working minimum wage part time. I could have taken it to a super-advanced shop, but the cost would be way out there.. The shop took 8 months to sleeve it... Lazy really...- JosieGallows

It was sleeved by Walkers Engine in Memphis,TN. $800. Now I'm not 100% certain that I'm gonna sell the truck and motor, I'm just thinking about it because of the cost and time It's taking. Not to mention family doesn't wanna help fund it LOL! Anyways, does the sleeving look...- JosieGallows

So I'm deciding I'm gonna sell my truck, because its taking too long to build and the cost ($5000) so I'm going to sell the truck as-is (good rust free chaises) and the motor, the question is, how much would a sleeved 7.3 bare block worth? 910-16 shims
Because the 910-16s are shorter than the stock springs. And a .030 shim is needed to get a 910-16 up to stock spring height. I already verified using a feeler gauge.- JosieGallows
