Project crew cab F350 DRW 4x4

Getting ready to buy a house in a few weeks as our landlord is needing us to move out so he can have family there. We were hoping to go the USDA route but since the Tryon International Equestrian Center opened up a couple of years ago, just about all the houses have been bought. We are hoping...

    Deciding on new tires

I ended up going with the iron mans as tirebuyer.com had a really good sale on them. It will still be a little while before my truck is back together and on the road to try them out though.

Need suggestions jacking truck up on an incline in mud.

I swung the front around, chocked the rear tires and used T posts to tie it to. Got the passenger side done before it was time to go. It’ll be a few days until I can get to the drivers side as it’s supposed to rain nonstop for the next 4 days. ☹️ The sad part is that is the most level dryest...

Need suggestions jacking truck up on an incline in mud.

I need some new ideas on how to keep the truck up so I can be under it removing the coil brackets. The problem is that I’m on the side of a hill and even though I have an engine hoist, 4 jack stands on pavers, and my jack under it everything is sinking in the mud and shifting over. This last...

Yikes! That couldn't have been good

The extra HP doubles with each shock so that’s a total of an extra 80 HP lol!

My 1985 F350 Lifted CC diesel dually build

So, after drilling a hole in the middle, using the oxyacetylene torch, and purchasing an air compressor and air chisel the rivets still won’t push out. I think drilling them all the way out is my only option left. ☹️

My 1985 F350 Lifted CC diesel dually build

I also may try using the oxyacetylene torch to heat it up and see if it will knock out. Does anyone happen to know how to remove the rubber bump stop? It’s hard to see but it doesn’t feel riveted but I can seem to get it to unscrew either. I’ve not tried looking it up yet as I’m still working...

My 1985 F350 Lifted CC diesel dually build

Unfortunately I don’t have an air compressor. I think the rotary hammer may have worked eventually but it was moving the truck too much on the stands.
