What's it all worth?
Looking at doing a 7.3 PSD swap into my IDI.. and may have found a possible Donor truck that has a 7.3 powerstroke with 230xxx kms on it and zf5 manual. New Glow Plugs and GPR still Rough Start
Having very similar issues, I have 2 frost plug block heaters installed and if I plug both in it fires right up, but sometimes it will die but then fire up and run fine on second start. D60 swap? Or is there a way to adjust the lifted OBS toe in?
alright I just wasn't sure if you could adjust camber angle at all with the factory ball joints, thanks for confirming. What companies will i be able to source the offset/adjustable ball joints from? I used all MOOG front end parts.- IDI Diesel7.3

We just eye balled the wheel alignment in the shop LOL I'll do a proper one on the machine at the college as soon as i get this front end sorted out. So you would just have to change the bottom U joint to an offset one to bring the bottom of the steering knuckle out to correct the camber...- IDI Diesel7.3

Hey guys, After putting the 4" Rough Country lift onto my f-250 with the TTB front end I noticed how bad the wheels are toed in. A wheel alignment fixed the side to side pigeon toe, but is there any adjustment to bring the top or bottom of the wheels in and out? Second question, what all...- IDI Diesel7.3

How about stacks?
I personally love the look of stacks on an OBS ford, I wouldn't have put anything else on my truck. Stacks definately have their place... 5-6" stacks look great, then there are the retards who put on 8....10" stacks that ruin it for people. But after spending 9 months building my truck frame up...- IDI Diesel7.3

e4od shifting issues after truck rebuild
I changed the whole manual level position sensor, and used the 94' harness complete. Now have 3rd gear! Sorry OLDBULL, was trying to explain on my blackberry while i was at work. There is a aprox. 1" x 2"x 4" box that says "Coast Clutch Controller", it hooks up to the solenoid pack plug in.- IDI Diesel7.3

Posted the wrong picture on left. Is the one with larger oval shaped plug in (very bottom on digram) an updated module? And does it interchange and work the same. Because then I would just change the module and everything would work no cutting and splicing involved.- IDI Diesel7.3

I like the lift, 4" is a nice height. It still looks plenty high but its still very usable for fifth wheel towing. Only thing is with the lift springs the angle of the Twin Trac beam in the front is much different making the front wheel toe'd in quite a bit. Now maybe there is some adjustment on...- IDI Diesel7.3

That was my highschool build, when I was 16. 99' Sierra Classic that I picked up at an auction for $1800 with a rebuilt motor with 60k on it. Added 3" Body lift, 2" susp lift, 305/70s, dual 2 1/2" exhaust, shorty headers, K&N intake, and replaced brakes, rear diff, rad, water pump, distributor...- IDI Diesel7.3

No kidding, not like I tried every other possible thing before I realized what the problem was.. Its a learning experience that's for sure, an expensive one! What's the difference between the connector for drivers side module from my 93 trans harness to the other one, my best bet might be just...- IDI Diesel7.3

Not sure on the turbo yet, maybe just an upgraded compressor wheel.. But with how I have the wastegate shortened I can touch on 15 psi boost. I also thought about a typ4 cam, and then there's crazy idea's of shaving pistons.. Doing the heads. Just want to prove to everybody that you can make...- IDI Diesel7.3
