    For future reference, if your truck is pushing out fuel from the housing it could be that your old filter came apart inside and sent metal into your IP. Thankfully mine stopped short of making it to the IP.

    At first fuel pressure blew vacuum sensor. Replaced with a bolt. Installed new water separator. Fuel comes out between filter and housing. No start. Any help would be appreciated.

    New lift pump installed truck tried to idle a little better. Seafoam through the fuel filter no change. ATF through fuel filter. Let the truck sit over night. Yesterday metering valve was still stuck upon start up. Drove about 20 miles hard. No more problems after.

    Now I don’t have any exp with the diesel trucks of today. However I have plenty in a semi. And they outright suck as far as power compared to pre 07 pre DEF. If we go pre EGR so 01 they get even better. Is it not the same for pickups?
