6.9 update .... need pump
Found local shop that sends them down to the states to a place that rebuilds them. Local rebuilder doesn't fool with them anymore. Anyway guy Says 3 week turn around. Says they've had real good service with them. Says If it's off a running truck (not some old rusty junk yard pump laying) should...- hayman68

1995 12 valve headgasket leak
Yeah mine started out really slow. But over time now it leaks when at operating temp. Only really gets put to use a few months out the year.- hayman68

1995 12 valve headgasket leak
The orignal factor gasket Leaking on front (right) passenger corner of head externally only. My old farm service truck with 240,000 miles. What's the standard sorta go to head gasket for these old motors. Was gonna order one online and lots of options I see.- hayman68

Never changed the pump. Changed fuel and air filters that were due. Glad I checked that check valve.- hayman68

Well its back working again as normal. It was the check valve all stuck. I put the valve in the ultra sonic cleaner in varsal from 20 minutes. That loosened the ball and spring up. The spring was packed with like a varnish stuff. It didn't look rust or metal sediment. See pic. I was able...- hayman68

Ppulled Pulled off the check valve/regulator on top of the pump. It's not functioning correctly it seems. If pressure builds up in in pump housing things don't work correctly from what I've read. There wasnt like sediment or stuff stuck in there but a film of gunk or something on the glass...- hayman68

Yesterday i found that I had a fuel filter on the shelf. Put it on and no difference. Cut the old one open and all looked okay inside wasn't plugged just normal sediment etc. General engine Compression I can't see going south suddenly unless a valve went bad. As mention seems all cylinders...- hayman68
