    Potential but or money pit

Lists $2,8xx but they'll definitely take $2500. Truck looks in good shape other than not running, and I don't have any idea why it's not running. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk

    Potential but or money pit

I've decided to forgo the gamble on this truck and instead invest in the rather known commodity of my 95 7.3L. By all appearance it's going strong, but the pickup itself needs a lot of TLC. Thanks to everyone for sharing your wisdom. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk

    Potential but or money pit

That's about what I figured I would be looking at. So the question becomes is the truck worth $8000 to me, basically. The price of trucks has become utterly ridiculous. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk

    Potential but or money pit

Alright y'all. I found an 07 F250,extended cab, 4wd, with a 6.0L. Straight looking truck in good condition. Supposedly everything works on it... except the engine. I'm sure we're all aware of the general problems with the 6.0L, but they're only asking $2500. My question is would you touch it or...

Boneheaded mistake. How bad is it?

Oh, you said drain plug. I misread that. That's a big relief. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk

Boneheaded mistake. How bad is it?

No, I wasn't at all certain where it would go at that point or if it would be accessible. I couldn't seem to find a great diagram of the engine, but it didn't look like it would make it all the way to the oil pan. Pulling freeze plugs is a possible method of finding it? Sent from my LM-G820...

Boneheaded mistake. How bad is it?

So, I was changing the fuel mechanical lift pump on my '95 F250 FWD. I had just got it out and cleaning up the valley and, although I literally said I should put a rag over the hole the pump sits in I didn't, and I dropped a 1/4" 5/16th socket in the hole. The good news was it didn't fall into...

    Fuel in the valley, again.

I would suggest plugging it, at least from experience that is what I would do. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk

    Fuel in the valley, again.

That was my problem this last time. I had considered it when I had everything out the first time but I didn't plug it. Certainly it would never be an issue if you maintain your filter. Of course, I had replaced every soft part and line associated with the pump and fuel bowl that first time...

    Fuel in the valley, again.

You're definitely best off replacing every soft part in your fuel bowl and all of the fuel lines between the pump and fuel bowl. Diesel O Rings is definitely the source as well. You'll have to find the fuel pump banjo bolt crush washers separately, though. I got might from O'Rielly I think...

So What Did You Do With Your PSD Today?

Well, my 95 PSD eclipsed 290k miles the other day, and still running strong. I actually managed to catch a cool picture of the ODO at 289,999.9 miles.

    Possible Second PSD Pickup?

That is certainly one of the conundrums. I have yet to find a workable deal, lol. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk

    Possible Second PSD Pickup?

Alternatively, could I drop the 4 door cab on my frame and swap the axles? Not too worried about ending up with a shorter bed in that scenario. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk

    Possible Second PSD Pickup?

Lol, I thought of that after. The question would actually be on the amount of work out would take to make my dream setup out of these two trucks. Assuming, for instance, the F350 is fine aside from some body damage and bad automatic transmission, is there more work to moving my transmission 5...
