timing truck in south coast mass.
can anybody give me a name for a shop that can time my truck in south east mass. just put new injectors in and truck is running a little rough. i want to try timing it to see if that helps. thanks for any help.- deadeyeb

Got intercooler 99 PSD. Some questions

vacuum on ijector pump
what kind of pressure should i be seeing on my lift pump. why would i see smoke at low strain on the motor and not when it is working hard. could i have an injector firing early because the motor feels like is missing, or could it be the metering valve in the ip. this only happens after it...- deadeyeb

whitish blue smoke but mostly on the first upshift then when the truck is not laboring. the upshift stutters a little bit sometimes, but the tranny shifts fine.- deadeyeb

Surging prob.
Is the truck smoking when it is surging ,sounds close to the problem I'm having. I have a automatic though. when the rpm's level out my truck stutters and will smoke , but hit the gas and clears right up. when you find a solution I would be very interested on what it took to fix it. thanks for...- deadeyeb

truck smoking at idle and low speed
well towed the race trailer yesterday and I poured 1/2 a gallon in each tank of the lucas fuel treatment . ran like crap for a little while but started clearing up . by the time I got home that night the truck was not smoking anymore at idle and didn't smell like an oil truck. it does have a turbo and no i don't use any additives, could that be the problem. when the truck is under load it doesn't smoke but as soon as you get off the gas it starts to smoke and seems like it misses. could some fuel additive help with cleaning it up a little. the truck also has a...- deadeyeb

Ats kit and turning up the injector pump
The Ats upgrade kit I got for my 94 turbo said to remove the plastic cover on the back of the pump and turn it 3 times counter clockwise . I did this and didn't see to much difference. 2 new injectors and truck idles rough
The truck ran fine before the inter cooler and ATS upgrade . I cracked every line today the truck ran rougher on everyone. 2 new injectors and truck idles rough
I just put in an inter cooler and new injector orings. I stripped the 6 and 8 injectors tops so I bought new lines and injectors . I also installed an ATS upgrade kit with the inter cooler. I made the hat from a solid piece of aluminum. I welded a 3 in. alum pipe on top had some trouble fitting hat to intake not to much room between hat and turbo. I had a hard time fitting 3 in. pipe behind filter housing and over it. The top pipe I had to oval in a press to fit under hood...- deadeyeb
