    Thank you, it’s real high quality but the bales weigh around 150 a piece . In the picture I had 130 bales loaded between the truck and trailer

    I’ve not been on the forum for a while. Life has been crazy to say the least. Anyway, I didn’t do it today but a couple weeks ago I hauled the year’s supply of hay up the mountain. Truck, trailer, and hay combined weight was around 32,000 pounds

    It would be really great to meet up sometime. That restaurant that you referred to was taken over by a new couple 3 years ago and they have done a phenomenal job giving it new life. I usually go there2-3 times a week and know most the staff. Super nice people.

    I hauled a good load today. Gross weight was around 28,000, but the hay bales are extremely heavy so it could possibly be around 32,000 gross It towed beautifully!!

    I have been crazy busy with the fires, cows and what not. Thanks Laine for posting for me. The trip ended up being close to 2000 miles. I got 12-15 mpg @2900 rpm. 11 hours of driving no breaks, and it did it without a flaw

    It is a fifth wheel. 28 foot. I actually am living full time in it right now on the ranch I’m managing. This is the view from my bedroom window. I have been pretty darn blessed. If any of you guys need anything and are in the Tahoe/Reno/Markleeville area, just let me know

    Truck Registration

    Most of those are all such low registration fees.......... California has decided my truck is heavy and commercial, so I get around $210 in registration and then another $80 “weight” fee. I know a couple other guys here in California have it even worse too

    I just timed my engine with a meter for the first time, and it was at 18* advanced :eek: no wonder I keep blowing glow plugs :joker:
