2500 really isnt that much in one of these trucks, especially if it has the overload on top of the standard spring pack. On my truck, with the standard springs and with the overload on top, 2000 pounds just brought the overloads into play, and leveled the truck.

If the splines have the blue stuff on them most any grease will do. Stickier seems to be better.
Where that ford grease shines is un coated metal splines.
Really need to verify that power from the tcm relay to the tcm is solid. After that, grounds to the tcm.
what I have seen several times, the relay gets water and corrosion in it from not being upright in the holder that it belongs.
From what I remember, the tach goes to the ecm before it goes to the cluster. If the computer is in the stock location, water runs down, and if the connector isnt tight or sealed , water can get in. Also check the relay for the computer.

But, I really dont understand the draw to those trucks.....beyond the 5-7k price point that they really should be at. Have owned many. Pathetic tow rating and brakes to match. A 7.3 superduty does everything better...
