97 F350 Clutch Slave Cylinder Push Rod Clip
When I last purchased a clutch master/slave cylinder the slave push rod had a plastic clip on it that would hold the push rod back in the cylinder. How much voltage drop do/should the glow plugs cause?
A second or two after I turn the key on on my 97 F350 the voltage drops from 12.8 to 9.8. That is right when the glow plugs should be fired for roughly 45 seconds. Is my voltage drop acceptable or should I be looking for another problem? Thanks, BigRedWeather- BigRedWeather

I have 12.8 volts at my battery before I turn the key on. 2 seconds after I turn the key on, I hear a click somewhere on the truck and the voltage drops to 9.8. Can't find (to buy) a Ford High Mount Lamp for 97 F350
I have looked at Rock Auto, Ebay and Google for the Rear High Mount Lamp. This lamp is on the outside of the cab, centered above the bed. Yesterday a very good PSD mechanic told me that Ford's spec on that tin nut is that it should be tightened finger tight, and then tightened 3/4 of a turn more with a wrench. The oil is up to the full mark, both tanks are full, no blown fuses. I haven't checked the UVCH. If that were bad, it should cause problems on level or steep ground. One mechanic said the first thing he does with my situation is to replace the front rubber lines. I did that, but to no avail. Well, its nice to know that I don't own the only odd ball.
