    5.9l 1st gen 12v vs idi 6.9/7.3 pros and cons

    crashnzuk your no fun! the 3200 gov spring is an awesome upgrade and i think the 4200 rpm is even better(although i dont take it anywhere near that) gov spring will keep you happy, especially pulling hills. as far as turning up the pump,, its a good thing too, but i agree smoke is just wasted...

    I tore apart an 94 ctd with 238,000 and still had hone marks on the walls.

    I was told that the torque curve on the cummins should be a lot flatter than this . seemed to drop off at about 2000 rpm. was your tq curve flatter?

    well those injectors i installed and the recent mods really paid off dyno'd on sat and did 360hp and 876 tq very pleased.

    How much boost?

    i have my hx 34/12 adjusted at 35 lbs. but will go past 40lbs with the mods in my signature. im not sure what a 6.9 can handle. free is a very good price actually its the best price LOL! what models do you have access to. im in the market for hx 40.

    i called mms to try to get a time slot. he basically said he didnt think there were going to be be that many trucks so should be able to get in early. i think he is going to have a long and busy day ahead of him.
